Experience the stories of a neighborhood unfold through an enchanting evening of dance and music in the award winning Porch View Dances: Real People Dancing In Real Spaces. This family friendly performance take audiences on a walking tour of Seaton Village, to watch new dance works created with Toronto’s most exciting professional choreographers and performed by local residents on the front porches and yards of their own homes.
Kristin Fung (vocals) and Mary Ancheta (grand piano) play music next to Bill Reid's jade sculpture, The Spirit of Haida Gwaii in the International Arrivals Terminal, Level 3 (before Security, free and open to the public) at Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
New Lineage is Toronto's newest 8-member collective of improvising vocalists (Jocelyn Barth, Jessica Mingjia Chen, Belinda Corpuz, Kristin Fung, Andrea Kuzmich, Jill Stella Richards, Laura Swankey and Lieke van der Voort).
The collective will perform a late-night improvised set at Maziar Ghaderi's "Korsi" on the front patio of the Gardiner Museum. More info and event details here
Uke Can Sing with K Funk and Lady Ree is a free outdoor ukulele and singing workshop for beginners. Bring your own ukulele or borrow one of ours: 30 loaner ukuleles will be provided on a first come-first serve basis. Meet us on the cannon decks of historic Fort York... and bring your own blanket and plenty of water! This event will happen rain or shine.
