Kristin Fung is a Chinese-Canadian singer, pianist, composer, recording artist, creative improvising musician, teacher and arts event producer born and raised in Vancouver, BC and currently living in Toronto, Canada.

A lively and ferocious performer, Kristin has performed 3 times at the TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival in addition to notorious music venues in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Her debut EP, Massive Stride was supported by a FACTOR Recording Grant and brings together the powerful sounds of R&B and jazz in her soulful and magnetic originals.


Kristin is a two-time alumnus of the Banff International Jazz and Creative Music Workshop. She recently performed in and recorded the contemporary opera, "Trillium J" in New York by world-renowned creative composer Anthony Braxton.

Other projects include leadership of an experimental and improvising vocal collective of 8 women, New Lineage, who were featured in a music series at the Art Gallery of Ontario. Kristin is also one half of the singing ukulele duet, K Funk and Lady Ree, who are often seen performing as one of the 75 licensed musicians in Toronto's subway system when Kristin is not singing in church, being a Musical Director at The Second City, or dancing.
